Augur was born out of necessity. The internet cookie has crumbled, as the cookie was built for one browser on one device. Now in 2015, the average US consumer owns 4 devices, and each device can have multiple browsers. This has lead security and ad-tech companies searching for a solution to consistently recognize a consumer across all their devices.

This is where Augur comes in. At Augur we're solving the cookie problem by providing the first ever Device Recognition API. Our API allows security companies to prevent fraud, and our ad-tech customers to better serve highly personalized ads.
