Our Mission

When do you ever log into existing HR tools? Maybe once or twice a year when you need to complete the dreaded performance evaluation. Why are there no HR tools to help me develop? And why do these annual performance reviews feel so recency biased and subjective?
Zugata is on a mission to help you develop within the organization by collecting continuous feedback from the people you actually work with and deliver you custom tailored content for your development. We look at other data sources to build a more complete employee profile and deliver insights to various levels within the organization. We use data to evaluate your performance and make the annual performance review less cumbersome.

How do we interview.

We start with a phone call to learn more about your interests and the role. This will help decide if their is a mutual fit. The next step is an in-person interview or project that will have to be completed, so we can validate your technical chops. If the project is successful, we schedule an in-person interview in our office with most members of our current team. We are still a very young startup, so we move very fast, in most cases the complete interview process takes less that 3 weeks.

Our Traditions

11:45am Stand Ups
Every morning, we huddle together to update each other on the challenges we are solving and owning.

Demo Days
We save Tuesday for “Show & Tell.” We take turns to share tangible things we’re working to get feedback & be transparent.

Lunch Day Monday, Wednesday and friday
Catered lunch is on the house.

Happy Hour Fridays
To end the busy week, we enjoy a few hours at the end of Friday with a drink or two. Drinks are on us.

Spontaneous Team Outings
A three hour lunch break in Sonoma & an all-you-can-eat Brazilian Steakhouse, who knows what’s next.

Mentorship & Feedback
As our mission is all about becoming better, we make sure we do that within our very own team by giving continuous feedback to each other.
