Yes, work-life balance is a buzzword; but it’s actually a priority at Zendesk. Over 6,000 Zendesk employees worldwide have the flexibility to choose where they work. Whether you’re collaborating from your home office, a Zendesk workspace, or the kitchen table, you’re part of one team here. We're digital first.
At Zendesk, we empower our people to be their best selves–together or apart. We value our differences and learn how to stand with each other’s communities. This is a place to grow and feel supported along the way. And while we like to keep reasonable work hours so we can also pursue our passions outside the office, we approach work with heart, creativity, and a sense of humor.
Zendesk was built upon a simple idea: Make customer service software that’s easy to use and accessible to everyone. We’ve expanded on that idea and now offer a growing family of products that work together to improve customer relationships and can be embedded and extended through an open development platform.
Zendesk is on a mission to simplify the complexity of business and make it easy for companies and customers to create connections. With a vision to have a global economy powered by lifelong customers, we can only do this with the right people and strong values.
We’re eager to get to know you, learn about projects you’ve worked on, and experiences you can bring to Zendesk. If you are selected for an interview, you will meet with someone from talent acquisition, the business group you are applying to, and nice people across the Zendesk team.
As you go through our process, we will be sharing our Zendesk values (lead with exceptional customer service, deliver the simplest solution, show pride in our work, and care for each other) and assessing your capabilities and skills.
Here are some tips to help you along the way:
- Get to know Zendesk so you can ask more specific questions. You’ll receive a candidate interview guide, and your recruiter will gladly guide you to content to help you learn more about what it’s like to work here.
- Don’t forget to read the job posting before your interview. You might want to make a list of questions you have about the job.
- We use behavioral interview questions. You can practice answering in a STAR format: situation, task, action, result.
- You should always feel welcome to ask questions.
Please note that specific roles may require one of the following: demo, case study, presentation, and/or assignment.
