Yahoo’s Mobile & Emerging Products division is building a mobile center of excellence in New York City. Our mission is create highly personalized mobile experiences for our users that keep them connected to what matters most, across devices and around the globe.

We are hiring iOS and Android Engineers who will work closely with designers and product managers focused on one mobile product, which creates the ideal environment for agile methodologies.

Some mobile engineers are at Yahoo as their first job; others have 10 years of experience or more. They are all strong programmers and strong computer scientists, who have usually been involved in mobile applications before joining Yahoo, and their backgrounds are quite varied. Most of them have at least a BS in computer science or engineering, with an MS opening up the most interesting opportunities.
