Our Story

On September 7, 2014, Christopher Nagy sat at a restaurant in San Francisco with half a dozen executives discussing how great it would be if there was one dashboard that could support all of the applications an enterprise needed with access and identity management features. They discussed current solutions but they kept coming back to the discussion about using third party software as apps directly in the dashboard. Asking each executive to list their preferred features, Christopher wrote them down on a wine stained napkin. Arriving back to his hotel, he began sketching out the first version of what is today, Worksurge.

The Interview Process

Job searches can be time-consuming, so our philosophy is to interview as quickly as possible while still giving you a chance to learn about us and work on our actual code base.

We start with an initial 30 minute long phone call with our founder Christopher Nagy to answer your questions about Worksurge, followed by a 1-hour initial coding exercise done remotely through coderpad.io.

If that goes well, we’ll sometimes we'll send you with a take home assignment or sometimes go directly to a full day session at our office. You’ll meet the entire team - both engineering and non-engineering - and have lunch with us. You’ll do a project and then pair with one of our engineers on a real feature!

We hope by the end of the day, you’ve had a chance to learn all about us and we typically can make a formal offer quickly. As part of the offer process, we will ask you to setup reference calls for us with your former managers & bosses.
