Gian and Wilton met on the Coca-Cola Founders program in Rio de Janeiro and immediately connected their concern on how the online media space was getting exponentially fragmented, mainly videos. After the rise of other massive platforms like Vine, Instagram and Facebook, Youtube lost the position as one-stop-shop for videos and no one is doing it well on aggregating the best videos. It was clear for them: the world needs curation.
Both co-founders believe that people are the best curators and Winnin was created to empower those curators and disrupt the video consumption market.
