Wardrobe Technologies

Wardrobe is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace focused on sustainability. Unlike fast fashion retailers who depend on selling relatively cheap and disposable clothing every season, Wardrobe unlocks rentals of high quality, brand name articles for a fraction of the purchase price and thus reduces the demand for and production of new items.

Our product is innovative for two main reasons:
- We don't own any rental inventory, similar to how Airbnb doesn't own any property and how Turo doesn't own any cars.
- We replace big, expensive warehouses with local dry cleaning partners who serve as our warehouses, cleaners, fulfillment centers, and storefronts.

Due to our asset-light structure the only thing we own is software and it is central to the company's success.

We were founded in 2018 in NYC and are backed by an exciting group of investors including the founders from Airbnb, Coinbase, Opendoor, HQ Trivia and Vine.
