Verition Fund Management LLC is a multi-strategy hedge fund. The technology team is especially involved with building trading system and research system for the quantitative trading teams. We have offices in Manhattan and Greenwich, CT.

We're looking to hire a Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Continuous development of our automated trading system
- Design and implementation of trading strategies
- Design and implementation of market data feed handler
- Design and implementation of risk monitoring system

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Computer science or a related field
- At least 2 year of work experience (either at a software company or trading environment)
- Strong in C++. Preferably C++11
- Experience in object-oriented programming
- Experience in distributed computer systems
- Great teamwork and communication skills

Desired
- Finance experienced preferred
- Experience with market data protocols and trading systems of major exchanges
- Mastery of Linux-based systems
- Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols
