About Us
Founded by world-class geneticists, machine-learning and bioinformaticians from Stanford, Harvard, and MIT, and funded by Sequoia Capital, SV Bio is building the worlds’ first clinical-grade genomic interpretation platform. As the cost of genetic sequencing drops below $1000 for an entire human genome, the challenge now facing us is how to accurately decode and interpret this explosion of data in a meaningful way that improves patient outcomes and reduces the cost of healthcare. We, at SVBio, are building a team that is passionate about this vision.
The challenges that we face span multiple disciplines, ranging from machine-learning to robust distributed infrastructures operating on extensive biological and medical knowledge.
