Our flagship product, a web-based analytics platform, is used by community health centers across the country to improve patient care in underserved communities. We ingest information from messy electronic health record systems and help users to uncover trends, highlight gaps in care, and predict risk.
We're a bunch of mission-driven nerds who found our way into the world of health centers a decade ago and never came out. We love working with health centers because they're on the ground, dealing with the challenges of primary care as it's practiced for 23 million Americans who are uninsured or under-insured.
We stay motivated because this is a space where great tech makes a real difference in the lives of doctors and patients. We also get a kick out of bringing modern UX and engineering tools (e.g. Rails, Typescript, React, Apollo, d3) to a space where the status quo involves legacy apps that were built on a humorless alien planet and brought to Earth to inflict pain on users.
Our process begins with a 45-minute call via Google Hangouts, where we chat in an informal way about the job, our company, and your interests. If we move forward, we'll schedule an additional 90-minute Hangout where we look at a code sample and dive deeper into your approach to problem-solving. We're not likely to put you on the spot in typical coding-interview fashion (no red-black trees!). We are likely to ask wide-ranging questions about your intellectual interests, in an effort to understand how you think. If it feels like a good potential fit, we'll schedule an onsite interview lasting a morning or afternoon where you can meet key stakeholders.
