Our team has been building mobile apps and businesses since the first days of iOS, and we became frustrated at the slow, fragmented pace of mobile development and deployment. So we decided to fix it.
We've developed an engine which allows you to describe how an app looks and works on both Android and iOS with a new JSON-based markup format and protocol. Apps using our engine have fast native interfaces - no web view trickery whatsoever.
We use our tech to build products like Propeller for Shops, which is currently creating over 150 new apps per month.
And we're just getting started - we've shipped hundreds of apps with our first engine iteration, but we want to build even better app-generation products and open our tech to more developers like us. We're tackling a lot of Hard Problems like real-time updates, data sync, layout engines, UI markup languages, and plenty others, and we want to work on them with other engineers passionate about fixing mobile.
