You ask your manager but they give a vague answer, something about communication skills and living the company values. Six months go by and you're still not really sure how you're going to make that leap to the next level.

One day you decide to log into your long dormant LinkedIn account and see a hundred un-read InMails asking if you're interested in a new role. You ignore those but sign up for a hiring platform so you can see what other options are out there. You come across a job ad from a promising looking startup that is asking you to stop if this sounds familiar...
