Phunware started in 2009 as a custom mobile app shop building apps for some of the worlds biggest brands like CW, WWE, Nascar, NBC and more. Since then we've helped companies expand their app presence, completely re-invent their app strategy and expand to wearables like the Apple Watch. We've always been on the bleeding edge of mobile tech.

Over the last 2 years, we've begun the journey to "product-ize" our expertise with our Maas (Multiscreen-as-a-Service) Platform, Appbuilder, and Vertical Solutions. We're looking for engineering and UI/UX designers who want to take mobile to the next level.

Platform

Phunware is revolutionizing the app experience by bringing location aware context to every mobile app. Our SaaS solution lets mobile app developers design the physical user experience by combining location (such as GPS, beacons and geo-fencing) with dynamic user experience on the app that adapt and change based on the user’s action.

AppBuilder

Our latest creation, AppBuilder, is an all-in-one app framework with UI frontend that allows non-technical people build and maintain native apps - absolutely no mobile web or HTML5 here! Its one of a kind framework is used everyday by our internal teams and our external partners to build apps with millions of users.

Solutions

Some companies just don't have the technical expertise and budget to build a world class mobile app. That's where our vertical solutions come in and provide a prepackaged app designed for a specific solution like Healthcare, Malls, Airports and more. We have some of the largest companies in their sectors using our vertical solutions already and we just got started!

Advertising

We also have an Advertising division that is actively working with large publishers to optimize their mobile app experience and create entirely new ways to drive engagement for their brands. We recently launched our new Phusion native brand placement for "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" by creating co-branded levels and gameplay in SBK15. Check out the video here.
