WHO WE ARE
We are the team behind Oxygen Cloud. We have been together since 2009. We pioneered cloud storage brokering and sync. Enterprises have deployed our solutions for large scale file sync and sharing. We believe the cloud is fundamentally distributed. odrive is the next generation of our work.
WHY WE'RE DOING THIS
With Oxygen Cloud, we created an enterprise class, hybrid cloud storage system with sync and share capabilities. We partnered with EMC, IBM, and AT&T and deployed the solution to many enterprise customers.
Deep in the enterprise trenches, we realized the problem was not storage but user access to content. Everything should be centrally accessible without migration.
The point of storage is access. What we need is a meta-cloud (cloud of clouds) to access all storage.
So we pivoted to odrive.
