WeDo

WeDo is a simple todo list app for you and your friends, family and co-workers to get things done. With each set of people, known as a Tribe, you have separate tasks and chats with just those people. It’s like Slack meets Wunderlist - perfect for families, projects, small teams, trips, events, and so much more. We're just getting started, and we're so excited to be building our some incredible features task apps have never seen.

What We're Looking For:

We're a small team. The reason for that is two reasons:

First: Each developer at this stage has a lot of responsibility, and ownership of the parts of the product they work on. When we say ownership, we don't mean, you just get to say this is yours but have no control over the outcome of what goes into it. Ownership to us means that you get to be part of the decisions every step of the way, if you choose. We look at every developer as a founder of the product, at this stage, and thus are hugely part of the decision making that goes into the app.

Second: We have an incredible team. We don't care so much if someone has 10 years experience, or someone whose works at [insert popular company name]. We care a lot about, competence (you gotta know your stuff), culture fit, and attention to detail. We review projects you've worked on in the past, and look at the decisions made stylistically and functionally. Apps you share with us should be projects you're proud of. In addition to that, culture fit is something that is a make it or break it. Our environment is collaborative, fun, energetic, encouraging, funny, plenty of gifs, but also candid and forward. Asking questions are a must, and bringing things up that you feel aren't hitting the right benchmark is expected.

Location requirements aren't a huge priority right now, although the ability to move to Santa Monica is ideal.
