Piper is built with the manager experience at heart. We are on a mission to transform the experience of managers by providing them with the right tools to manage their teams, while simultaneously helping them to grow as managers using feedback loops to provide insights on the effectiveness of their approach.

Most people become managers without any formal training, and once in the role are expected to coach their team and get the best out of them, which are tricky challenges to tackle. Piper is is taking on this challenge by building a completely new product that acts as a toolkit for managers.

While there are no direct competitors in the space, there is a lot of innovation happening in similar areas and the HR tools market is growing fast and there have been some huge success stories. For example Peakon, which delivers insights on how employees are feeling back to HR & Management teams, was acquired by Workday for $700m earlier this year.

With remote working here to stay, the conversation around employee engagement and to role of managers is changing and Piper is setting up to lead the charge.
