mytaxi is the evolution of the hail - a free smartphone app which puts people just two taps away from a licensed taxi, and lets drivers get more passengers when they want them. We are the leading e-hailing app in Europe, available in over 75 cities within 11 countries. A mytaxi hail is accepted around Europe every second from mytaxi’s network of over 120,000 drivers and more than ten million downloads.

The team is routinely challenged to solve large-scale, highly complex technical problems. You will be stretched, but will learn best practice at scale in their creative and fun environment.

We're seeking new team members who can engage and empathise with our users. All of our developers are agile and able to move up and down the software stack, building the capability to support a world class product used daily by more than a million people.

Interview process

We interview using a simple 3 stage process:

1. Skype call - A short informal discussion with one of the mytaxi family so we can learn more about you, and so we can share some more about life at mytaxi and the role you’re applying for.
2. Coding Challenge & Tech Talk - We’ll send you a short task that will give you the chance to show us what you can do, it will be followed up with chat with some of the mytaxi team... it’s a great opportunity to speak some of your potential new team mates! 

3. A trip to Hamburg and an in person meeting - the final stage will be you coming to visit us for an interview, to meet the rest of the team and take a look around our office
