Form3 are a cloud-native payment technology provider for financially regulated institutions. Launched in 2016 by four executive banking and technology leaders, we have grown from start-up to established scale-up at a sensational pace.

We are now a team of 550+ people and proudly partner with some of the most exciting and disruptive banks and Fintech's globally.

Having focussed initially on UK and European markets, Form3 now have an expanding presence in the US.

The challenges 👩‍💻

Code quality and correctness are paramount at Form3 as our multi-cloud platform needs to be secure, scalable and highly available in order to process millions of payments per day.

Achieving this as a truly remote company requires a lot of thought. Working within small, self-managed teams, our engineers utilise a combination of sync and async workflows giving them freedom to work how they feel most productive.

The technology ⚙️

By utilising the latest cloud-native technologies, and embracing the DevOps mindset, at Form3 you’ll be responsible for every aspect of the work you’re delivering, from design and testing, through to deployments and infrastructure operations.

Go is our primary programming language as it’s perfect for building out our highly-performant, event-driven micro-services architecture.

This exposes our engineers a wide variety of challenges and provides plenty of opportunity to grow.

Form3’s Software Engineering team is 100% remote and distributed across 20+ countries around the world. We recognise our Engineers are our biggest asset and therefore have invested a lot of energy into creating a positive and productive engineering culture.

Our teams favour collaborative development and leverage open-source tools and communities, whilst making sure to share their know-how back up stream.

What we look for 🔍

Passion for cloud-native technologies, modern infrastructures and tools, and keeping up with the latest in engineering best practices. Skilled in designing and building distributed, scalable systems and know-how to apply data structure and algorithms to create amazing solutions. Polyglots who are comfortable picking up new technologies, choosing the best tool for the job and writing the right kind of tests. Above all, we’re looking for enthusiastic engineers who love working in a DevOps culture and value teamwork, different perspectives and blending disciplines.
