When we started in 2016 renters struggled to pay large deposits, leaving landlords with rising void periods. Plus, the Government deposit schemes and insurance policies of the time simply weren’t benefiting both parties — often leaving someone out of pocket.
We thought there was a better way. So our founders, inspired by the success of deposit alternatives in Germany and Switzerland, set out to rethink the UK lettings system.
Our founding idea was simple, and it remains the same to this day. We combine the most effective government deposit schemes with smart technology to make renting more affordable for tenants, more profitable for landlords and more efficient for agents and institutions.
We’re an ambitious team of digital innovators, problem solvers, technology enthusiasts, digital marketers, and finance experts. Our culture is constantly evolving with everyone who works here, but there are some things that will never change. Our interview process consists of an initial phone screen, a take-home code test, and a half-day on-site interview. We promise not to ask you any brain teasers or trick questions, and we won't make you code on a whiteboard!
