Darkly is the world’s best horror and paranormal platform, created for and by its community. We are creating a user-generated open platform of independently financed horror entertainment that engages this “cultish” audience like no other platform around. Darkly’s community of fans and creators will curate the biggest, broadest and best library of horror and paranormal content, and will vote on and recommend their favorites, crowdfund those series they want to see more of, and create and upload (not to mention watch) their own content from any device.

And because we’re going to be ad-based, darkly is going to be free to anyone, anywhere.

Horror has always been a genre where great, fresh ideas marketed well can attract a big audience and turn a huge profit, and they don’t need a big star or big budget effects to do so because the SCARES and the MONSTER are the star of the story. There are over three million hours of short-form horror and paranormal content online, but with no site collecting and curating it, viewers are underserved by not getting the best and newest content, and the content creators lack the promotion and financial assistance they need to be discovered.

Darkly will seek out the best content and creators in all genres of the occult, promoting the best content through the site and its community, offering financial solutions for content that can grow into larger IP, and delivering a wealth of new content every day.

We launch this summer, with a big push to own Halloween 2017. In the meantime, we will be promoting and marketing the site, as well as the films that we will feature upon launch.
