The idea started inside Discovery Communications.
We knew we could reach the world but needed a killer product.
We incubated Curiosity.com for one year through a lot of user testing.
The web's best learning content experiences is what came of that.
So, we spun out of Discovery, raised $6M Series A, brought on 4 of Chicago's best VC investors, got an investment from Discovery as well (including a $2m media campaign that runs for the next 2 years) and set out to execute.
We're a very strong technical team that has product market fit. So we're de-risked.
Now we're looking for people that are passionate about reaching the world's learners.
