connectRN was cofounded by nurse Idriz Limaj, Mike Wood, and Agron Ademi in 2014 in both Baltimore, MD and Boston, MA. While Co-Founder Idriz Limaj was finishing his degree from LPN to RN, he worked with staffing agencies hoping they would be able to give him per-diem shifts that fit his complex school schedule, but could only be scheduled when it was inconvenient for him. Years later, the idea came to him: use technology to directly connect facilities and nurses and cut out the middleman.
