What We Believe

We're a small team of finance and blockchain enthusiasts working together with a mission to make Ethereum assets more efficient and productive. Compound is a money market protocol on the Ethereum blockchain — allowing individuals, institutions, and applications to frictionlessly earn interest on or borrow cryptographic assets without having to negotiate with a counterparty or peer. We've raised $8.2 million in Seed funding led by Bain Capital Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital, with participation from Transmedia Capital, Compound Ventures, Abstract Ventures, Danhua Capital and Coinbase.

We are leveling the global economic playing field by providing, for the first time, a traditional banking function, the Money Market, to decentralized economics. We've built an open-source protocol for algorithmic, efficient interest rate markets on the Ethereum blockchain. For the first time, users and applications can frictionlessly exchange the time value of Ethereum assets. Join us as we change finance.

Our Interview Process

-Recruiter Screen 30min- This covers your search and motivations, technical experience, and a deeper dive into Compound.
-Technical screen 60min- On hangouts and coderpad. this is a straightforward interview covering basic concepts.
-Onsite interview 4hrs- We'll dive into a few contextual questions; data structure, design behind a simple transactional database, some straightforward problem solving with an emphasis on whiteboarding and/or coding a working solution, and interview our CEO.
-24 hour turn around on feedback from the interviews.
-24-48 hour turn around on offers once terms are mutually agreed upon.
-Interviews are a two-way street. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about anything you are curious about along
the way that will help further mutual interest.
