Who We are

Cheddar is a post cable news network. What is a post cable news network you ask? We're the first one so you get to help decide! We broadcast live, 8 hours a day, from studios in the prow of the Flatiron Building, the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, and The Bungalow in Santa Monica.

Our engineering team maintains applications on iOS, Apple TV, Roku, and Android as well as a CMS (built with React & Relay) that handles all of our video publishing. We also maintain a Rails application that provides APIs (primarily GraphQL) to all of the aforementioned applications.

Who You Are

• You care about quality, both of code and user experience
• You are excited about learning new things and tackling challenging problems
• You love testing. Well, maybe you don't love it all the time but you DO it all the time 😀
• You have lots of experience with stuff we use. Some deep, some less so. The exact mixture doesn't matter that much.
