Brushfire North started late 2009 when two friends decided that they could provide greater value to advertisers and their clients than current consultants and so called "dev shops" were. Mike McKinnon and Grant Wilson chose then to offer affordable marketing and adtech focused consulting to agencies and digital marketing teams - focusing on delivering exceptional digital experiences.
Fast forward more than five years and we are a company on the rise. Completely bootstrapped and profitable from the onset Brushfire North is an industry leader in providing compelling digital experiences using a myriad of technologies rooted in the Microsoft stack, and now leveraging the Azure cloud.
We work hard, we build great things that sometimes get a lot of exposure, and we always hold our client's best interests to heart.
We focus on modern web technologies and deliver experiences using ASP.NET MVC, WPF, WCF, etc. As a Microsoft partner we frequently integrate with core MS technologies and products. We also offer support and management in our own cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft's Azure Cloud platform.
In any given day you can find yourself working on a global website for a bank, a digital marketing initiative for an advertising agency, a web based HTML 5 video game, big data applications, bleeding-edge cloud services, or any number of other products. We don't shy away from any challenge and relish the challenge of new and exciting opportunities. This is truly a job where you will learn!
Our 5th fiscal just finished (can we sleep now?). And into FY6 we are focused on utilizing the explosive growth of the Azure cloud platform to deliver even richer, and more meaningful products to our clients. We have expanded from traditional consulting and development work to include a full suite of cloud hosting and development services. We serve clients in over 20 countries and are excited to help marketers, advertisers and SMB's understand how their new-found ability to leverage massive amounts of affordable infrastructure and services can change the way they communicate to their customers.
Our hiring process generally starts with a in person interview or a phone call followed up by a practical and written test. If you pass those and impress the staff you're probably in already. We like to meet face to face and require all prospective hires to do a bit of proving themselves. The tests can be done on your own time and at your own pace from the comfort of your home.
