What we do

Our mission is to enable large and small companies easy access to the subscription model economy. We have built a cloud based payments platform that enables any company to get started with subscription billing using a simple HTML snippet.

We recently closed a 1 million bridge funding round that we are going to use to grow our engineering team in a sustainable way to get ourselves ready for series A.

How we build Billsby

Backend is mostly written in .NET Core but we have some Go services running as well.
Frontend is all React + Redux.

• We use GRPC for synchronous RPC
• RabbitMQ for async RPC
• PostgresSQL and Cassandra to store our state
• Our infrastructure is hosted in Google Cloud
• We use a micro service architecture and we deploy in Kubernettes
• The main patterns we use are Domain Driven Design and Event Sourcing

How we interview and hire

We'll invite you for a quick zoom call to discuss the role and get to know you better. The next step is a technical interview over zoom. We'll ask you a little about yourself and your experience and give you some tasks to reason around. We're fast moving, so if we think you'd be a good fit, you'll get an offer quickly and we'll be open and transparent about salary, perks and start dates.
