In 2011, three Australian brothers traveled across the world to follow their vision to help marketers build better relationships. That year, Autopilot was founded in San Francisco.
In a previous life as consultants, Mike and Chris Sharkey recognized a growing gap in the market for simple, intuitive marketing automation software. This observation has fueled the growth of Autopilot. In its first three years, Autopilot grew rapidly to support over three million contacts, raise $15 million in funding, and launch the industry’s first self-service relationship marketing solution.
Autopiloteers come from companies like Salesforce, Yammer, Zendesk, Adobe, and Oracle. With adjustable stand-up desks, a fully-stocked kitchen and two kegs, weekly catered lunches, and a game room with a ping pong table, the team is serious about building beautifully simple marketing software --and having a blast doing it!
