-- OVERVIEW --
The meteoric rise of fantasy sports and betting has transformed fans from passive to active participants in sports. This massive shift in consumer behavior has resulted in an unquenchable thirst for "smart" sports data and analytics -- a void completely overlooked by slow moving incumbents like ESPN.
At RotoQL, we are building the Waze for sports by helping consumers navigate the complicated world of fantasy and betting through community-based data. Our mission is to be the must-have sports data platform for sports fans worldwide.
Starting with daily fantasy sports, we grew our seminal product, RotoQL, into a million dollar run rate subscription business in 12 months. This upcoming NFL season will mark the launch of our second product, SquadQL, to connect with North America's 57 million season-long fantasy fans. We have acquired nearly 100,000 users across these products and thousands of paying customers.
We have raised $1.7 million to date from Boston Seed Capital (DraftKings' first investor), the family office that owns the Houston Rockets, FOX Sports executive, owner of VegasInsider and more. We are now laying down the foundation for our Series A which we plan on closing in Q4 of this year.
