MATCHESFASHION.COM is the global luxury-shopping destination for men and women. We have London stores and No. 23 our private shopping townhouse, but most importantly we are online where 90% of our sales are made. Our teams are cross-functional and work on a multitude of projects that cover eCommerce, mobile, in-store tech, line of business and ERP. We’ve standardized on a core set of technologies, but we’re not wed to a particular stack and love to experiment with the latest tools and techniques.
The Technology department is focused on maintaining the business’s status as a tech leader in the fashion industry. We have an amazing team, who as well as delivering business value are constantly innovating and driving forward our engineering methods. We are not hierarchal, just passionate engineers with entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitudes.

We strongly believe in good software craftsmanship, sound engineering principles, DevOps and automation. Our tech stack is a mix of Hybris, Spring/Java, JVM languages, Javascript, Node and Swift, but we are always looking for the right technology for the job. We have a dynamic and evolving architecture landscape of enterprise systems and microservices, which we are continually adapting to scale with the extreme pace of business growth.
We work closely with our other software engineers, product managers, test managers and stakeholders in the wider business to ensure we are constantly innovating and driving forward our engineering methods.
