Lua is a 2,000 year old Hawaiian philosophy and art form.

We derive our name and inspiration from ancient Hawai'i. Hundreds of years ago, the kings and chiefs of Hawaii trained their forces in the sacred martial art of Kapu ku’ialua, or Lua. The Lua masters, the ʻōlohe, would instruct the soldiers on the basic forms and movements of the martial art so their armies could fight coordinated battles without needing to see each other. In battle, they moved in perfect unison, having developed a silent communication between one another. Harnessing this synchronicity, the warriors united the islands of Hawai'i.
