LabFellows was founded by Julio de Unamuno, a scientist who lost a close family member to a disease that science has not yet caught up with. He's since made it his life's mission to do everything in his power to liberate scientists to focus on life-saving research, as opposed to the time-sucking drudgery of paperwork and logistics. Routine tasks like ordering consumables, calibrating equipment and keeping users safe and compliant with Environmental Health & Safety regulations certainly sound easier than curing cancer, but collectively eat up thousands of research hours each year. The challenge is compounded by the fact that no two research labs are the same. The founding team at LabFellows have used their intimate industry knowledge to built a platform that automates everyday tasks with data from 3rd party providers, putting scientists in charge of where they spend their time. Over the past year the LabFellows platform has on-boarded teams from top universities and biotech firms across the United States. In making scientists more productive, we are doing our part to help cure disease and advance human knowledge.
