Founded in 2012, Brainlabs is rapidly becoming the world’s best data-driven marketing agency. We are disrupting the PPC landscape by introducing a new level of scientific and mathematical methodologies to an industry that is becoming increasingly complex. And we’re having a helluva lot of fun while we’re at it!
We specialise in building award-winning custom software for our clients and we're beginning to create enterprise level versions of our software. It's an exciting new direction for us and we're looking for some hard-core developers to help us forge the way.
We don't believe in high pressure interviews where you're asked to estimate how many cups of tea were boiled since the last full moon. Our interview process has three components: an informal chat, a take home exercise and an on-the-job exercise.
Our culture is a big part of our corporate identity and means a lot to everyone at Brainlabs. All interviews start off with an informal chat in order to get to know each other.
We set a take home exercise in order to establish technical proficiency. The exercise varies and will usually involve some element of research and will be relevant to the job role.
The on-the-job exercise will go through the take home exercise as well as coding something as part of a team. It's how we work in the office so it's how you should be assessed!
We're currently looking for a Full Stack Web Developer. The full job posting can be found here.
Our mission is to make Brainlabs the most fun company to work for in the whole world.
If you’re talking about work/life balance then it’s already too late. At Brainlabs we believe that creating an amazing place to work is nothing to do with a long list of benefits that you can claim from HR. It’s about creating a culture where coming to work is like hanging out with your friends. If you’re going to spend the majority of your waking hours somewhere, you may as well enjoy it.
That’s not to say that we don’t take our work seriously. You’ll be working with some of the smartest people you’ve ever met and be given genuine responsibility for the future of the company. We favour autonomy over hierarchy and rules: for example, we don’t prescribe ‘holiday’ days – it’s up to you to work out how much holiday you want. No-one abuses this privilege because every one of us is part of a team with the same goal of changing the future of performance marketing.
That said, we do have a few ‘perks’:
We recently won the Most impressive agency growth award from the UK Search Awards. We're growing quickly and looking for someone to join us on the journey!
