Wireless Research Intern

Job Description

NI is looking for a Ph.D or Masters degree candidate in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering to join our Advanced Wireless Research Team as an Intern to contribute to the definition, development and implementation of 5G wireless system prototypes using software defined radios. Additionally, he/she will be involved in carrying out original research involving 5G research areas such as Massive MIMO, mmWaves, MAC-PHY research etc . The Intern will work in a team environment and this will include with significant interactions with systems engineers and wireless experts.

Pursuing PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering with emphasis on wireless communications

* PhD Minimum overall GPA 3.7
* M.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering with emphasis on wireless communications; minimum overall MS GPA 3.5
* B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering; minimum overall BS GPA 3.2
* Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
* Problem solving skills; enjoys solving technical problems
* Advanced understanding of computers, high-level programming languages (C/C ) and the following concepts and principles:
* Operating system components and design
* Software design and architecture principles
* Data structures
* Passionate about learning; in particular about new computer and software technologies

Ability to:
