Carlson Capital, L.P. is an alternative asset management firm that has been investing capital for 25 years. Founded in 1993 by Clint Carlson, we currently manage over eight billion dollars in hedge fund and CLO assets, with a focus on non-directional, relative value investment strategies. Based in Dallas, Carlson is an independently-owned registered investment advisor with offices located in New York, Greenwich, London, and Houston. Carlson Capital is currently seeking an Undergraduate Intern to join the Technology Development team who is highly teachable, can adapt to an ever changing environment, and enjoys a challenge.

The candidate should be detail oriented, highly motivated, and have the ability to think creatively in a fast paced environment. The candidate must have basic familiarity with the financial and/or marketing industries. Strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) are required. An ideal candidate would have excellent time management and organizational skills, currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program and have some background working in a professional setting. The candidate should also have experience working with:

* C#
* Relational databases
* Web development with Angular 2 and REST APIs
* Data science / statistics experience is a plus

Our internships last a minimum of ten weeks and are paid. Start and end date are flexible.
