Alicon Group is currently seeking a Senior Oracle Applications DBA for a 1+ year project based in Pasadena, CA.The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) must have demonstrated experience with installation (or upgrade) and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite in a Release 12i environment. Must have at least 7-years of ERP and database upgrade experiences with product life cycle that includes installation, upgrade, cloning and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite of Applications on a Unix Solaris platform with multiple node technology stacks such as Oracle Forms, Web, Concurrent Manager, Discoverer, Notification Mailer and Oracle workflow. Must have complete knowledge of UNIX Shell scripts, SQL, SQL Plus, PL/SQL packages, and SQL loader. Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills and have the ability to work in a multi projects environments of high complexity across multiple development and test instances. Must be able to work under pressure and meet commitments. Must have strong coordination and organizational skills and work well with people in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Participation in an implementation of at least one r12 gig required. Should be familiar with Distributed Active Directory and Staged Patch approach during r12 upgrade. Experience configuring application load balance and failover required. Should have experience using grid control monitoring tools, Oracle Access Manager. Knowledge of Oracle Identity Management, Grid Control, OBIEE, and Fusion Middleware is a plus.

Must be a U.S. Citizen/Green Card. Should be local to Southern California.
