Job Description

As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will provide support to Finance functions, working on Adaptive Insights and other integrated financial tools. You will serve as the primary contact person regarding enhancement, support, training and issue-resolution for our Financial Planning & Analysis team.

As a partner to business teams, you will be a key player in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed models, reports and process artifacts and implement according to the deployment plan.

The successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a resourceful, independent self-starter able to work effectively with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

* Provide expertise on budgeting and planning best practices
* Working with end users to document the business requirements and create technical solutions based on functional requirements - with attention to detail
* Implementing budgets, forecasts, and reports within Adaptive Insights for Finance
* Analyzing financial models and reports (spreadsheet/non-spreadsheet based models)
* Responding to business support questions
* Interacting with our product management team to influence roadmap.

* Interface with senior management, business and technology teams to drive the adoption of Adaptive Suite.
* Educate and guide users on effective and efficient approaches to utilizing models, tools and data.
* Provide technical guidance (design, model, configuration, troubleshooting, etc.) for the Adaptive suite of products.
* Demonstrate high understanding of potential functional design issues by suggesting alternatives
* Effective communicate status to the management team, issue and risk management

Qualifications:

* BS/MS in Finance, Accounting, Computer Sciences or other applicable majors
* 8+ years of experience in EPM/ERP/SPM consulting - Adaptive Insights experience preferred
* Budgeting and forecasting experience; including expense, personnel, revenue, capital, and balance sheet planning.
* Solid understanding of accounting (monthly close, consolidations, reporting etc.)
* Experience setting up new models using excel
* Strong consulting background and experience
* Exposure to business process mapping and/or re-engineering preferred
* Experience implementing or administering SaaS software
