Description:

4M Research is looking for a SAP BI/BW Developer that will build complex data models to support business reports for the Army Enterprise. This role requires development of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle to include: Requirements gathering, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Training support. Must be proficient in both report design (Lumera, Analysis for Office, WEBi) as well as the back-end development (BW Cubes, Bex Query, BW extractors, BW loading, etc.).

Job Duties:

* Hands on ABAP coding experience for BW routines and user exits, extractors, etc.
* Experience in SAP BW HANA modeling and optimization scenarios
* Experience in replication scenarios on SAP landscape transformation (SLT) with operational reporting or data mart scenario HANA Modeling, Optimization
* Knowledge of relational data modeling and data warehousing models
* Familiar with ABAP and ABAP debugging
* Experience in BW Extraction, BW loading, building BW cubes, Lumira, DSO, Multi-providers, building BEx queries
* Develop, update, and/or execute SQL queries to validate report data
* Document test results and issues and work with agile team to validate/recreate issues
* Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
* Provides technical support to users on matters related to complex programming of data model
* Ensures code integrity throughout testing, implementation and maintenance
* Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

Required Qualifications:

* 10 years of experience
* Bachelors Degree
* SAP certification a plus
* Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance (or company may sponsor qualified/suitable candidates)
* Willingness to travel to Aberdeen, MD and Huntsville, AL and Ft. Lee, VA (25-50%)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experienced in working with Business Managers, Architects, End Users and all the stake holders in documenting requirements, providing estimates, creating High Level Design specifications and technical packages
* Thorough knowledge on Business Objects Enterprise Architecture
* Hands on experience in writing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Complex Queries, Sub Queries, etc. using PL/SQL.
* Experienced in ETL tools like SAP BW and Business Objects Data Integrator
* Experience in SAP BW HANA modeling and optimization scenarios
* Experience in replication scenarios on SAP landscape transformation (SLT) with operational reporting or data mart scenario HANA Modeling, Optimization
* Knowledge of relational data modeling and data warehousing models
* Familiar with ABAP and ABAP debugging
* Expertise in Business Explorer Suite - BEx Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, BEx Support/Design BW Data Models to meet reporting needs
* Experience in BW Extraction, BW loading, building BW cubes, DSO, Multi-providers, building BEx queries
