We are looking for an Information Technology / data focused individual to support the 777 / 777X Quality organization. This role will be responsible to build tools that can pull data and develop metrics to assist in leadership decision making. This role will generate Tableau and HTML based metrics in order to automate data gathering and formatting. This role will also generate SQL queries to support leadership requests. The ideal candidate will be able to support immediate data requests as well as lead long term projects with the goal of transitioning to a data driven environment.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is currently seeking an Information Technology/data focused Quality System Specialist to support the 777/777X Quality organization in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

* Responsible to build tools that can pull data and develop metrics to assist in leadership decision making.
* Generate Tableau and HTML based metrics in order to automate data gathering and formatting.
* Generate SQL queries to support leadership requests.
* Support immediate data requests as well as lead long term projects with the goal of transitioning to a data driven environment.
* Find Data Driven solutions to repetitive and chronic issues

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* In depth understanding with at least 3-10 years experience in Data Science and Data Management
* Must be able to process large amounts of data and generate metrics to assist leadership decision making
* Must have at least 3 years experience generating reports in Tableau and SQL
* Must have at least 3 years experience working with VBA, and MS Office products
* Must have at least 3 years experience with database management and automation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* More than 3 year of experience developing root cause corrective actions
* More than 3 years of Project Management Experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
