Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Manager, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of Oracle software solutions. Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing role of counselor and coach; actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitor project progress. Managing project delivery from the workload and resource perspective including managing the workload assignment of resources on the project and organizing team meetings. Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project and managing the scope using change management processes. Managing the SLA's, and motivating resources in support of timeline and project deliverables, coordinating, negotiating with internal and external customers and use win-win approach to negotiate/resolve conflicts. Adhering to Quality processes and EVD methodology to ensure continuous improvement as per the guidelines defined by Quality and Risk Management team. Establishing the overall reporting structure and collaborating with senior management to set-up the overall process for tracking the metrics of Incidents and Enhancements and Value Enhancement Opportunities. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Reviewing test scenarios, client approvals, test cases, test execution artifacts and requirement traceability Matrix in HPQC and JIRA to ensure adherence to software testing process. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Five years of progressively responsible experience as a Project Delivery Manager, Senior Engineer, Project Delivery Specialist or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have five years of experience with:
* Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies;


* Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures;


* Reviewing test scenarios, client approvals, test cases, test execution artifacts and requirement traceability Matrix in HPQC and JIRA to ensure adherence to software testing process;


* Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques;


* Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements;


* Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.




* 80% travel required.


* Telecommuting permitted.
