Description

Stride Health's vision is to create economic security for everyone who works for themselves. We make software that helps the 100+ million people who work for themselves be more productive and successful, giving them the economic security they need to thrive.

We're looking for a Product Operations Specialist to join our marketplace operations team, and help support and scale up our suite of insurance products.

In this role, you'll become an insurance guru, supporting our core health enrollment experience and taking on additional responsibility across our additional lines of coverage. You'll learn to overcome every obstacle that a carrier throws at you, and ensure that our internal processes are constantly improving. You'll collaborate with more cross-company functions than almost any other role, acting as our go-to operational expert.

Because we're a fast-growing startup, your role will be constantly changing and evolving. We'll empower you with as much responsibility as you can handle and we expect you to find creative solutions to get the job done.

Responsibilities

* Own key enrollment processes (e.g., major medical, dental, and more) and understand enrollment pathways like the back of your own hand
* Find solutions to improve the enrollment experience from both internal and member-facing perspectives
* Assist in the development and QA of scalable enrollment tools
* Own execution of member retention efforts by performing larger internal audits of enrollment statuses and situations
* Think critically about opportunities to improve member retention
* Run research efforts that will help Stride understand industry complexity in order to deliver the member a beautiful, seamless, and easy experience
* Contact insurance companies for member or organizational questions
* Contact members to request additional information if appropriate
* Assist in training subcontractors or small outsourcing teams
* Support Enrollment Operations in any other ways necessary

Basic Qualifications/ Must-Haves

* Bachelor's degree
* Extraordinarily organized, process-driven, and patient work style
* Detail-oriented (to the point of neuroticism)
* A love for generating simple solutions from complex problems
* Optimism and positivity to spare
* Ability to make sound decisions independently
* Tech savvy: aptitude in Windows and Mac OS, proficient using basic office software tools (MSOffice, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.), ability and willingness to pick up new technology quickly
* Readiness to work extra hard during (seasonal) volume spikes

Desired Characteristics/ Nice-to-Haves

* 1+ year(s) of experience working in a highly-operational role
* Experience in the health or ancillary insurance industries
* Healthcare enrollment or billing experience
* Interest in public and/or digital health, health policy
