Job Description

As a Solutions Architect focused on Oracle technologies within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help customers and partners implement Oracle technologies on the AWS platform. Your broad responsibilities will include becoming a subject matter expert for Oracle technologies within the AWS team and supporting partners and customer engagements.

As the right candidate, you will have technical skills with the Oracle platform (e.g. Oracle Applications, Fusion Middleware, Database) as well as customer facing skills that will allow you to represent Amazon well. You should be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the AWS Business Development team working to ensure customer success with Oracle technologies on the AWS platform, you will act as an Amazon ambassador and primary technical liaison for the Oracle partner community for AWS. This includes:

* Lead or support technical engagement with Oracle partners & customers globally.
* Collaborate with the global Oracle field teams on strategic projects involving AWS as required.
* Represent and promote AWS within Oracle, the Oracle developer and end user community from an evangelistic Pre-Sales perspective.
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running and managing Oracle solutions on AWS with the Oracle Developer, Oracle end user and AWS communities.
