IT SERVICES MANAGER
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS AREA
Job Responsibilities:
* · Implement client technical support processes * · Establish and manage SLAs * · Deliver core IT services as per established SLAs: * · Service Desk - Level 1 and Level 2 support staff Management * · Workplace Management * · Training of staff and delivery of training to clients by third parties if needed * · Local Facility Management * · Participate in the delivery of services * · Teach, train, coach, mentor and motivate team leads, technicians and other team members * · Foster collaborative problem solving environment * · Manage Projects, support staff and client support request * · Manage preventative maintenance for the users to ensure high availability of all managed systems * · Manage KPI metrics in order to evaluate customer experience, service levels, technician productivity and efficiency * · Additional duties may include moving computer equipment, configuring PC's, and supporting special events such as a Sales Conference * Required Skills: * · Minimum of 5-10 years working in an IT environment - preferably with a global organization * · Minimum 3 years of experience management a helpdesk team - must be able to demonstrate ability to lead and mentor * · Previous experience in building new teams * · Experience with Project Management - must demonstrate experience managing technical projects * · ITIL v3 Certification, and experience with incident and request management processes, including Service Level Agreements * · Ability to resolve the most difficult and complex helpdesk problems * · Experience with budget management * · Experience with IT procurement and supplier management * · Strong customer service skills * · Strong verbal and written communication skills * · Knowledge of PMBOK concepts * · AWS, Microsoft and / or Cisco certifications * · DevOps Experience * · Network and Security Experience * · Technical skills (minimum 5 years of experience): - Windows and Linux server OS - Data center hardware o Microsoft and cloud-based productivity products - Networking and Security concepts
