Purpose:

Athene is seeking a hands on technical IT Manager to oversee part of our Digital IT team. Applications include but are not limited to Agent Portal, Consumer Portal and our public website.

Accountabilities:

* Manage and develop development resources who support the Digital IT applications.
* Manage efforts of technical teams to successful deliveries.
* Deliver projects within defined EPMO fundamental metrics: schedule, costs and resource allocations.
* Guide internal policies and procedures in support of IT.

Qualifications and Experience:

* 6+ years' leading technical projects, preferably in the reinsurance, annuity or financial services sector.
* 3+ years' supervisory experience within IT.
* Proficient in Systems Development Methodologies (SDLC) and experience in Waterfall/Agile/Iterative approaches.
* Skilled with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.).
* A strong sense of teamwork and ability to both manage and execute programs.
* Development experience with Java, Python and SQL required.
* Experience utilizing resource and defect tools to manage project resource demand and quality measurements.
* Experience with Salesforce, Bitbucket, Jira and Jenkins preferred.
