Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, IEC is a recognized industry leader in defense and security solutions, providing critical technology advancements in the areas of GPS/ Position Navigation and Timing, and Range and Test Solutions.

Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates the activities of highly technical systems engineers doing product development and systems analysis for GPS receivers and navigation systems.

Candidate must demonstrate an ability to rapidly learn the complex GPS user equipment and navigation systems. Prior GPS, hands on lab experience, signal processing or navigation user equipment background is strongly desired.

Candidates must have experience assigning work to meet contractual commitments, developing schedules, managing development budgets, schedules and technical accomplishments within an earned value management system (EVMS), excellent judgment when assessing technical and program priorities and the ability to adapt technical scope and assignments to meet changing needs.

The successful candidate will operate with limited supervision, manage assignments with broad objectives, and have full technical and administrative responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. Candidates must be capable of estimating staffing needs, providing career opportunities for staff within the available activities, and establishing employee goals and assessing individual performance against those goals.
