New Opportunity for a Cleared Full Stack Developer in Washington, D.C!

Work you'll do

Our selected Candidate will be responsible for leveraging the existing infrastructure to build applications and solve big data challenges to ultimately help find meaningful insights in data from the entire organization as we drive our Client's mission.

U.S. Citizenship is required, as is an active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

Outside of development, job duties will include but are not limited to:

* Providing technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules, while coordinating with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction, as well as making recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations.
* Familiarity with a broad range of development languages and technologies to include:

o Core - AngularJS, Java/JEE/EJB, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, NodeJS, C#/.NET, JSON, Mongo DB, ElasticSearch, MS SQL Analysis Services, Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL Server) Amazon Cloud Service, and Enterprise JavaBeans

o Extended - N-tiered Software Architectures, REST, SOAP, JAX-RS, Jersey, Tomcat, JBOSS, Accumulo, JAXB, JPA, Hibernate, Spring, c3p0, Wicket, Twitter Bootstrap, JSON, WiQuery, AJAX, XML, XSD, UNIX/Solaris, Linux/Ubuntu, Maven, Microsoft MVC .NET, Visual C#, ASP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Database Design, Oracle, Windows, MVC, Eclipse, Spring Data Neo4j.

* AWS/cloud development and solutions architecture / familiarity with and experience developing in Gov't cloud environments
* Custom Application Development
* Windows Admin/Scripting
* Understanding of Relational Databases and Querying languages (SQL. CAML), as well as Database Administration, Design and Development (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres SQL)
* Version Control (Specifically Git)
* Software Engineering Principles (E.g. Test Driven Development)
* Software Testing and Quality Assurance
* Comfort with Agile Methodology / SCRUM development
* Spring Boot
* JIRA, Confluence
* Familiarity with DevOpsSec

Technical Consulting / "softs" skills (Comfort with 'close-in' and regular interactions and communication with clients and their mission customers, requirements gathering, analysis, integration and making informed tech suggestions, translating highly technical concepts and processes to non-technical audiences etc., etc.,)

* Comfort in a national security, "mission-driven" environment where the focus is often quick delivery of capability in support of critical mission activities.

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of applicable experience coupled with a completed Bachelor's Degree

U.S. Citizenship is required, as is an active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
