The focus of Business Analyst (BA) is to understand the business environment of the area being supported, lead and establish business value creation for Drug Development by leveraging the clinical trial systems technology.

The role encompasses the full lifecycle - from ideation to requirements elicitation, business process design, support of implementation and rollout of the solutions.

Major Accountabilities:

The Business Analyst role will include the following responsibilities:

* Defines and documents business functions and processes
* Conducts assessments of processes and data to detail the business and user requirements
* Leads authoring of the user requirements document
* Communicates with key stakeholders and business subject matter experts to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, issues, system requirements, and levels of systems access
* Facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
* Liaises between business and technical team in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the system
* Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures for training and manuals
* Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services.
* Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications and testing & validation. Support validation and testing (OQ, PQ, UAT)
* Provides technical assistance in training of end users and technical team
* Keep abreast with internal IT systems and documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security).
* Keep abreast with industry best practices in leveraging technologies for the business and with regulatory environments / requirements if applicable.
* Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope
