Job Description

Amazon Advertising is looking for a curious and resourceful Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the Advertiser Support & Operations team. This team will ensures that advertisers using Sponsored Ads products and services have world class support. The BIE will own critical back-end data sets and related reporting to measure operations performance and analyze business impact.

Responsibilities of this position include:

* Design and build back-end data sets from various data sources.
* Collaborate with Program Managers to create innovative KPIs to assess our business.
* Own the efficient creation and production of reports and dashboards on current performance trends.
* Identify requirements and coordinate with BI teams and business leads on implementation.
* Pull and synthesize data and conduct business analyses that drive strategic decisions or process improvements.
* Identify and drive improvements in reporting automation and metrics.
* Build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, prefer collaborative work, and be driven to learn new skills to solve unique analytical needs. S/he will have strong analytical and mathematics abilities, as well as business acumen.
