Job Description

ECS Federal, LLC (ECS) is seeking a Computer Science/Mathematics to work in our Arlington, VA office.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Job Description:

This is a technical Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) position is in support to DARPA programs. Experience working with federal government (DoD organizations) is strongly desired.

Required Skills:

* B.S. or higher in computer science and/or mathematics field
* TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills:

* Experience in designing, testing, implementing computational algorithms
* Knowledge in implementing agnostic computational algorithms that can be used in a range of fields
* Experience in data manipulation using software such as SQL, Hadoop, etc. and programming with software frameworks such as R, Python, XML, Javascript, or ETL
* Technical knowledge regarding data models and data mining
* Knowledge of how to scale algorithms in regards to volume, velocity, and variety
* Strong organization and communication skills, particularly in technical writing and briefing preparations.
* Experience interfacing with operational personnel and senior government officials to understand operational requirements and articulate program goals.
