Engineering Manager Job Description

Engineering Managers work closely with product managers to ensure the team designs the recommended solution and is available to recommend alternative approaches if needed. The team under an Engineering Manager is tasked with creating, developing, testing and delivering solutions to technical problems. Candidates can be expected to be tasked with delegating duties to the team, facilitating the placement of services to the client and providing final approval of the products that are to be manufactured. Engineering Managers are also expected to troubleshoot new and existing products for manufacturing as well as recommending assembly line cost reductions and improvements. Candidates should have a Bachelor‰Ûªs Degree and at least 5 years of experience.
