Blockchain Engineers are responsible for the development and application of blockchain technology. These protocols provide companies with the ability to distribute and share information to the public, and protects it from being copied in the process. These engineers use Oracle Identity, programming languages and cryptocurrency technology to create applications that meet the technical needs of the organization.

Blockchain Engineers assist with developing infrastructure that utilizes cryptocurrencies, and ensures that the individual aspects of the technology are secure. They are responsible for creating algorithms, monitoring the implementation of technologies and code artifact analysis. The ability to create procedures that ensure the backend functionality of software is important. Some organizations also require blockchain engineers to develop document infrastructure that works with all of their technological systems.
